In 1986, Dr. Erik Goluboff graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He continued his journey at Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated with his medical degree in 1990.
For close to three decades, Dr. Goluboff has practiced Urology and has been in many high ranking positions throughout the course of his career. He was a Professor of Clinical Urology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and at one time worked as the Director of Urology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/The Allen Pavilion. He served as Global Clinical Product Lead for AstraZeneca after spending almost three decades in academic urologic oncology. He assisted in their late stage research and development efforts regarding bladder cancer.
Dr. Erik Goluboff is now the Principal Medical Lead for urologic cancers at Genentech/Roche, and he works in the drug development program for cancers of the bladder, kidneys, prostate. Over his long career, Dr. Goluboff has been awarded many accolades including Teacher of the Year Award which was given to him by three different residency programs and the Young Investigator Award which is presented by the National Kidney Foundation.
